This serum has a slightly oily consistency and contains 15% mandelic acid, an organic acid extracted from bitter almonds that belong to the category of alpha-hydroxy acids. Due to its chemical characteristics and higher molecular weight, mandelic acid penetrates the skin more gradually and uniformly compared to other alpha-hydroxy acids, making it less irritating and more suitable for sensitive skin. It also has benefits in the treatment of acne and hyperpigmentation.
Thanks to its exfoliating action, mandelic acid helps improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, increases skin brightness, promotes the fading of dark spots, smooths out scars, making them less noticeable, and promotes the synthesis of collagen and hyaluronic acid. It also increases the absorption of other active ingredients present in the cosmetic regime.
Suitable for all skin types.
Preferably use in the evening on cleansed skin. Apply a small amount of product on the face, avoiding the periocular area, before the cream.
During the day apply a sunscreen.
Do not use in the same routine in combination with other direct acids.
1. MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS CLEAN:
Before applying the serum, always make sure your fingers are clean and that your skin is well cleansed and dry. This way, bacteria are prevented from spreading on the skin, avoiding the appearance of imperfections and skin problems.
2. FOLLOW THE POINTS:
Dispense the serum in drops and apply it on 5 points of the face before spreading it with your fingertips. Apply one drop in the center of the forehead, one on the nose, one on the chin, and one on each cheek. This way, the product will be evenly distributed and in the right amount.
3. REMEMBER THE NECK:
When applying the serum, always spread it starting from the center of the face outwards, and never forget the neck and collarbone area. These areas are characterized by the same sensitive skin as the face and should be treated with the same product.
4. THE RIGHT ORDER:
Always apply the serum in the correct order: after cleansing, but before the cream. The serum should always be applied before the cream because it has a higher concentration of active ingredients that are fixed by the cream.
