Step 1: Preparation

Start with clean, dry skin. Ensure you've completed any other skincare steps, like applying a moisturizer before using your sun protection lotion.

Step 2: Application

Apply the sun protection lotion generously to all areas of the skin exposed to the sun. Remember often-overlooked areas like the tops of your ears, the back of your neck, and the tops of your feet. 

Step 3: Absorption

Allow the lotion to absorb fully into your skin before dressing or applying makeup. This usually takes about 15 minutes.

Step 4: Reapplication

Reapply your sun protection lotion every 2 hours or immediately after swimming, sweating, or toweling off. Even if the product is water-resistant, it's essential to reapply regularly to maintain protection.

Step 5: After-Sun Care

After sun exposure, clean your skin and apply a hydrating lotion to help soothe and moisturize.

Remember: Always use a broad-spectrum sun protection lotion with an SPF of at least 30, even on cloudy days, as UV rays can still penetrate the clouds. Avoid excessive sun exposure, especially between 10 AM and 4 PM when the sun is strongest.
